Race Parking Information

ESPECIALLY people who will be picking you up at the finish line!
We’re continuing to improve the parking experience this year, including two exit routes (weather and field conditions permitting) to reduce post-race congestion.

Important guidelines:

- No overnight parking (vehicles will be towed at owner’s expense)
- No parking ANYWHERE along US Route 4 or nearby businesses
- No pedestrian traffic on Dewey Mills Rd from 5:00 AM – 12:30 PM (there are no sidewalks on this narrow road)
Race Morning Parking Schedule:
- 5:30 AM: Parking opens for runners using shuttle buses
- 6:45 AM: Runner parking closes (you may miss the last shuttle if late)
- 7:00–10:00 AM: Open for volunteers and spectators
- 10:00 AM: Road shifts to exit-only traffic, no cars may enter the parking area. NO exceptions.
Traffic Flow Details:
- Morning entry: two lanes downhill (cars + shuttle buses)
- Post-race exit: two lanes uphill to US Route 4
- Additional exit via Quechee Main Street (near Henri Hill Rd)
We’ll have signage, police, and volunteers on hand to guide you.
Race Morning Reminders for Runners
- ALL runners using shuttle buses arrive by 6:30 AM
- Runners-Don’t wait for the last shuttle—it will be full
- Plan ahead to avoid missing the start
Spectator & Volunteer Advisory
- Expect heavy traffic near US Route 4 and Quechee Gorge Bridge
- If coming from Woodstock, leave before 9:00 AM
- Road closures and congestion will impact travel between viewing areas
