Spectator Parking and Viewing on Race Morning

Finish Line Viewing and Spectator Parking

Spectator Parking at Dewey Mills Fields is open on Sunday from 8 a.m.-10.am. If you want to see your runners at the finish line, you MUST be parked in the designated lot BEFORE 10 a.m. Volunteers will direct you to parking. Spectators MUST remain behind the fencing and not interfere with the runners crossing the finish line. Please pick up any trash that you might create

PLEASE NOTE TRAFFIC DELAYS

There is construction on Route 4/Quechee Gorge Bridge. This will greatly affect TRAFFIC FLOW for our race.

PLEASE PLAN FOR STOP AND GO TRAFFIC

Woodstock Viewing-(be sure to leave time to get to the Spectator Lot in Quechee before it closes at 10 a.m.)

#1 Woodstock-Iron Bridge You can view your runner twice in Woodstock. Park in downtown Woodstock-check meter timing. Park no later than 7:30 a.m. Walk up Elm Street to the Iron Bridge. The runners pass onto River Street then return after running through Middle Bridge on Elm Street over the iron bridge. #2 Woodstock-Middle Bridge If you want to see your runner come through Middle Bridge on the Woodstock Green you’ll need to park at a meter no later than 7:30 a.m. before the meters are all taken.

Leaving Woodstock for the Finish Line

If you decide to view in Woodstock-leave time to get to the Spectator Lot in Quechee before the road to the lot and the lot closes at 10 a.m.

Quechee-Finish Line Area
Please note that Quechee Main Street from Route 4 is CLOSED to LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY on Sunday, race day, until 12:30 p.m.
Race Parking Area

Dewey Mills RD is ONE WAY-Two lanes Sunday morning 5-7:30 AM, heading towards the parking area. Dewey Mills RD is ONE WAY-Two Lanes Sunday morning 10:30-noon heading up the hill to Route 4. There are rolling road closures in our race communities. However, Route 4 remains open to both eastbound and westbound traffic. Please use Route 4 to travel from Woodstock and points west to Quechee (runner parking, spectator parking, volunteer parking, finish line area)


No Parking Areas on Race Morning

No Parking at Taftsville Bridge There is NO spectator parking or viewing at the Taftsville Bridge. You could get a traffic ticket or possibly get your car towed.
 
No Parking at the Snack Bar at the Gorge (formerly Ott Dog) There is no parking at the Snack Bar at the Gorge (formerly Ott Dog) (corner of Route 4 and Dewey’s Mills Rd.)
 
No Parking at Strong House Spa (intersection of Quechee Main Street and Dewy Mills RD)or Fat Hat Factory (Corner of Route 4 and Quechee Main Street.
