Racer Check-In and Bib Pick Up-Suicide Six Ski Area
Race Bib Pick Up/Registration Table Opens: 6 a.m.
BIB (Number) Pick Up: Racer’s Bibs will be given to runners at the Start Area at Suicide Six the morning of the race.
Please note, the Bib will ONLY BE GIVEN TO THE REGISTERED RUNNER.
(We have got the system down pretty well so you wait less than 2 minutes to get your bib.)
At the Info Tent on Saturday and at the Race Start on Sunday beginning around 6 a.m.-look for their signs near the Race Start.
The Upper Valley Running Club has provided pacers since the 2015 Covered Bridges Half Marathon. The UVRC pacers are a group of experienced, local runners that will be with you during the race to help you reach your race day goal. Whether you are finishing your first half marathon or hoping to set a new personal record, run with a pacer to help make it happen.
The pacers will be at the Race Start (Suicide Six Ski Area) in the starting corral roughly 15 minutes before the start of the race. This will give you a chance to talk to them, learn more about the plan, and ask any questions that you might have. They’ll be wearing brightly colored shirts or vests that say PACER and holding signs with their goal time, they will be hard to miss.
Pace Groups for 2018
Anyone who wants to run with one of the pace groups is welcome to do so; they ARE NOT doing one-on-one pacing and there’s no need to sign-up.
Basically The PACERS job is to encourage and cheer people on, and to run at a consistent pace so other runners can gauge their own progress.

Drop Off Your Drop Bag
After you get your bib, drop your drop bag at the Truck for transport to the finish line.
Your Drop Bag will be transported from the Start area back to the Finish area just before the start of the race. You must have your CLEARLY LABELED DROP BAG to the truck BEFORE 7:45 a.m..
Label them with your LAST NAME and First Name-volunteers will sort them at the finish line for you. The more unique your bag, the easier it will be to locate it Sunday afternoon. In case of bad weather, you’ll want to make sure the bag is waterproof.
What to put in your DROP BAG: pre-race layers, a change of clothing, personal items (wallet, phone, car keys, sun block) CBHM is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Drop off your gently used sneakers for recycling by the Upper Valley Running Club (our pacers).
Water, Food, Bathroom
Visit the water table and food table, port-o-lets and make your way to the race start line between 7:45 and 8 am. Try to locate your personal pace time by locating the PACER SIGNS. You don’t have to run with the pacers group but this will help organize our 2000 runners.
