Lucy Mac 5K9 September 13

The Lucy Mac 5K9 is held on the trails at Ascutney Outdoors and is one of Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society’s largest fundraising events of the year.

This year’s event is even more special as Lucy Mackenzie celebrates 110 years of serving animals and people in the community!

The Lucy Mac 5K9 offers both a timed 5K route as well as a 1-mile option. Runners and walkers can participate solo, or as a team, and enjoy the thrilling and beautiful trails of Ascutney Mountain – all in support of the animals at Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society.

As always, dogs are welcome to join in on the fun!

The registration fee is $30 for the 5K trail and $20 for the 1-mile trail.

In honor of our 110th anniversary, every participant that raises at least $110 will receive a free 2025 5K9 t-shirt!

All participants completing the 5K9 will receive a custom Lucy Mac 5K9 medal!

Check-in and registration will be 9 – 10AM at the Ascutney Outdoors Center located at 449 Ski Tow Road, Brownsville, VT 05037.

The 1-mile race will kick-off at 10AM, and the 5K race will start at 10:30AM.
