The mission of the Hartland Recreation Department is to enhance the quality of life of the community by providing a wide variety of meaningful and fulfilling leisure activities for all age groups.
Programs aim to recognize each person as an individual, with different needs, abilities and goals, and to encourage participation that educates, and promotes sportsmanship, physical fitness, and citizenship in a strong recreation community.

By providing access to introductory and competitive programs in Alpine and Nordic skiing and ski racing within the backdrop of a fun, supportive, family-oriented environment, it is the mission of Woodstock Ski Runners to continue our proud tradition of instilling in our children the love of Winter and skiing.
