CBHM 32 is 7 Weeks Away!
Good Luck to ALL the Boston Marathon Runners
on Monday, April 15th
The 128th Boston Marathon boasts one of the top elite fields in the storied race’s history.
Kenya’s Evans Chebet will aim to become the first man in 16 years — and fifth ever — to win the world’s oldest marathon three times in a row, while fellow Kenyan Hellen Obiri is also looking to defend her title.
While both Chebet and Obiri are considered the early favorites entering the 2024 race, the Boston Marathon’s unpredictable weather and elevation changes make it a daunting 26.2-mile undertaking for even the most accomplished runners.
7 Weeks Until 32nd CBHMCan you believe it, our race is just 7 weeks away, how the heck did that happen. How’s the weather where you all live? We hope it’s encouraging you to get out and hit the pavement! Ever wonder who all our runners are and where all our runners are from… |

This week we’re highlighting a few runners supporting David’s House. |
|
Meet Katherine Boy For my 1st Covered Bridges Half Marathon I will be raising funds for David’s House. David’s House is a 20-bedroom home-away-from-home for families with children receiving medical care through Dartmouth Health Children’s. Founded in 1986, named in memory of David Cyr who passed away at age five after a long battle with leukemia. |

Meet Mimi Kamm Hi friends! I have signed up for the Covered Bridges Half Marathon in Vermont this June. It is a fundraiser and beautiful scenic race I am crossing off the bucket list! I chose David’s House as my nonprofit which is located on Dartmouth Hitchcock’s hospital campus (where I work as a nurse) and is a designed to be a home away for home for families of children receiving treatment at Dartmouth. It reminds me very much of Ronald McDonald house for my Tampa friends to have something to relate it to. My goal is $500 before my race this June. Thank you for any help and support in my fundraiser and helping out these families in some of their most challenging times. |

Meet Marilyn Nylen Want to join me in supporting a good cause? I’m raising money for David’s House, Inc. (David’s House) and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support. I’ve included information about David’s House, Inc. (David’s House) below. David’s House is the dream of a little boy named David Cyr who passed away at age five after a three-and-a-half-year struggle against acute lymphatic leukemia. Built so that families can remain together when it is most crucial, David’s House provides a home-away-from-home and support for families with children receiving treatment through the Children’s Hospital at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. |
