Runners if you see folks wearing these VOLUNTEER t-shirts during race weekend-PLEASE say “Thank You” to them because without them there would be no race!
FIRST AID There is a FIRST AID TENT, right there at the finish line should you need it, staffed by EMTs from Hartford (Vermont) Fire and Rescue.
WATER, MEDAL, T-SHIRTS Volunteers from the Hartland Boy Scouts will be there handing you a bottle of water (or you can fill up your water bottle at our WATER MONSTER-near the INFO TENT), your race medal and your-t-shirt.
AWARDS Awards are given to the Top three (3) women and men. And top three (3) in our age group classes.
Top three overall get beautiful, handcrafted, for our race, Miranda Thomas plates.

RACE RESULTS Race results will be posted near the Info tent on BIG BOARDS.
FOOD TENT We have a HUGE Food Tent, where volunteers from the Yoh Theatre in Woodstock will make sure you have fruits, yogurt and snacks to refuel with.
ICE CREAM We’ll have Lazy Cow VT ice cream for sale (their strawberry shakes are TO DIE FOR!!)
FINISH LINE BAND Our finish line band is the Western Terrestrials Playing their crazy style of ALT-Country. They are “Hard Diving Honky Outsiders from Vermont”
DROP BAGS and Buses Back to Runner Parking

TRAINING How is your training going? Need some tips? Please visit our Training Page Are you comfortably running 10-12 miles yet? We hope you are. You’ve got this!! This is A RACE not a fun run or walk. Remember we are expecting our runners to run at a 13 minute mile pace. You should be crossing the finish between 11 AM and 11:30 AM (Keeping this pace allows our overworked volunteers to get home at a reasonable hour on Sunday)
