Can you believe it, our race is just 6 weeks away. This week’s Race News Blast includes:

TRAINING NEED TO DROP-PLEASE LET US KNOW |
*This week’s Race Tip-plan for traffic and arrive early for ALL Race Weekend Events.*Hopefully by now you know that the Quechee Gorge Bridge on Route 4 is down to one lane of STOP-AND-GO traffic. This will impact our entire race weekend! In order to speed up our FREE Shuttle Buses from Quechee to the race start over in Pomfret, we are moving the RUNNER PARKING to the Dewey Mills Rd Polo Field (where our race Spectators usually park) |
|
Please obey ALL NO PARKING SIGNS and follow the directions given by our race volunteers and police officers. Our FREE Shuttle Buses will now pick you up near our race finish line and take you to the Race Start Area in Pomfret via the Quechee Covered Bridge (by Simon Pearce in Quechee Village) Please note that Quechee Main Street (at the Fat Hat Factory and Route 4) will be closed ALL RACE TRAFFIC/open to LOCAL TRAFFIC ONLY. Please OBEY this-we want to keep our race neighbors happy. There will be NO PARKING at the Antique Mall or the grass field that we used to park our runners in. As a result ALL our race participants’ vehicles will be in one area. Please no campers or larger vans. No OVERNIGHT parking-you will be towed Sunday morning. After the race, when exiting, we will have two lanes of traffic going up Dewey Mills RD to Route 4. Volunteers and Police Officers will help you get into the correct lane. Right Lane-for cars heading to Woodstock and points West. Left Lane-for cars heading to I89/91 and points East. We will post signs to help you navigate this new system. |
I want a CBHM Bib!
